We were honored to be involved in the succession plan of Jenfab’s founder, Phillip Bowen to allow Tony Williams to transform the company into Williams Fabrication Inc., dba Jenfab.

When Jenfab founder, Phillip Bowen, was ready to pass his business on to a hardworking employee, we were there to help manage their assets appropriately and set Tony Williams up for success.
A New Generation of Metal Fabrication
Today, Tony Williams leads Williams Fabrication, Inc., dba Jenfab. in providing full service welding, machining, fabricating, sandblasting and painting solutions. They employee 33 full time workers and serve the various needs of businesses and individuals as far west as Kentucky and as far south as Florida.
Without the help of Highlands Community Bank, Tony believes he wouldn’t be where he is today.
“They were there from the first step,” says Tony. “They took a chance on me when they helped us through the transfer and they’ve proved that they’ll always be there for me.”
Working in the materials industry, cash on hand is a must have. Large orders must be fulfilled on time and supplies must be readily available. “It just feels so good knowing that if I need to make a wire transfer at the end of the day to make sure we have important materials delivered in the morning, all I have to do is pick up the phone,” says Pam.
Williams Fabrication in the Community
Beyond the manufacturing facility, Williams Fabrication, dba. Jenfab continues to make an impact on the community at large. Like a true local business, they make a point to continuously donate to a variety of local organizations and causes. From supporting the Order of the Odd Fellows Fishing Days to donating money to St. Jude, Tony makes it a priority to provide support in any way he can.
The growth and impact they’ve made on the local economy was most recently recognized at the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism’s Small Business Awards. They received the award for the 2018 Small Business of the Year after being nominated for their category in Manufacturing.
So what’s next for Williams Fabrication Jenfab?
“Time will tell,” says Tony with a smile.
All we can hope is the Highlands Community Bank will have the chance to be a part of it.
